Today, my nephew started high school, and my niece began her journey in junior high.
Although I haven’t seen them in a while, just looking at their entrance ceremony photos warmed my heart.
“Wow, have they grown this much already?”
Life has been busy lately, and I haven’t had many chances to spend time with them.
But I still clearly remember the days when they were little—
my niece showing me her drawings, and my nephew running around full of energy.
Those memories came rushing back in an instant.
I also recall those quiet walks home, holding their tiny hands—
they’ve now become cherished memories.
My nephew stood tall in his new uniform, looking confident and dependable.
And my niece had a shy smile on her face, which was simply adorable.
Soon, they’ll be making new friends and learning new things each day.
