Celebrate Graduation with a Special Moment at “Ryo’s”

Today, we had families who had just finished their graduation ceremonies come to Ryo’s to celebrate in their own special ways—lunch with their mothers in the afternoon and dinner with the whole family in the evening!
Graduation is a special day not only for the children but also for their parents.

Lunchtime

On the afternoon of their graduation, many students came to have lunch with their mothers.

“Congratulations on your graduation! You did great!” the mothers said warmly,
“Thank you!” their daughters replied with shy smiles.

The atmosphere was still filled with the lingering excitement of the graduation ceremony, and they couldn’t stop reminiscing about school.

“I’m so glad we took so many pictures with our classmates!”
“Even in high school, let’s keep hanging out together!”

Seeing them enjoying their pasta and pizza while sharing these heartfelt conversations was truly heartwarming.

Then, a mother suggested, “Since today is special, should we order some dessert too?”
“Yay!” her daughter cheered with delight.

With dessert in front of them, their conversation flowed even more.

Watching these moments between mother and daughter, I could feel the mother’s deep emotions, as if saying, “You worked so hard these past three years.”

Dinnertime

By evening, more families arrived for celebratory dinners, and the restaurant was filled with an especially warm and joyful atmosphere.

Mothers, fathers, grandparents, and siblings all gathered around the table.
A cheerful “Congratulations on your graduation!” was followed by the clinking of glasses.

Grandmothers smiled sentimentally, saying, “You’re already a high schooler now!”
Fathers proudly declared, “Since today is special, order anything you like!”

As pizzas, pastas, and oven-baked dishes were placed on the table one after another, conversations continued:

“What do you want to focus on in high school?” a mother asked.
“I want to continue my club activities and make new friends!” her daughter responded excitedly.
“That sounds great! Enjoy your high school life!” the whole family encouraged her warmly.

Then, the highlight of the evening—the special graduation celebration dessert plate—arrived!
With sparkling eyes, the daughter gazed at the sweets decorated with a message of “Congratulations!”

“I’m so happy we could all celebrate together today!”
“Let’s come back and have another family dinner here soon!”

Hearing these conversations brought a smile to my face, too.

Having a quiet, heartfelt celebration over lunch with their mothers and then sharing a warm, joyful dinner with the whole family—each family found their own beautiful way to celebrate.
It was truly wonderful to see these special moments.
